Artist & Label User Agreement

(Distribution Guidelines, Terms & Conditions, and Privacy Policy)

1. DISTRIBUTION GUIDELINES

1.1 Content Submission

• Artists and labels must upload high-quality audio files (WAV or FLAC), official artwork (minimum 3000×3000 px), and correct metadata.

• Metadata must include title, artists, composers, lyricists, ISRC codes, genre, language, release date, and label name.

1.2 Release Approval Timeframe

• Karhari Media Music will review submitted content within 3 working days.

• Once approved, delivery to digital stores occurs within 7 additional working days.

• Total distribution time: 10 working days (approx.)

1.3 Supported Platforms

We distribute to global stores including but not limited to:

• Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Amazon, Facebook/Instagram, Resso, Wynk, JioSaavn, Gaana, and more.

1.4 YouTube Content ID

• Content must be original, fully owned or licensed.

• No public domain, royalty-free, or duplicate content.

• Content ID will be applied only after strict internal review.

1.5 Takedown Requests

• Artists or labels can request takedowns in writing.

• Takedowns take up to 15 working days after internal review.

2. TERMS & CONDITIONS

2.1 Revenue Split

• Karhari Media retains 20% of net revenues from digital platforms.

• Artists/labels receive 80% via bank transfer or UPI.

2.2 Payment Schedule

• Royalty reports are updated every 60 days after the end of the month of streaming/sale.

• Payments are made by the end of the 3rd month after revenue is earned.
  (e.g., Revenue from January is paid at the end of April).

2.3 Rights and Ownership

• You must own 100% of all rights (or have written licenses) to distribute any content.

• You grant Karhari Media the non-exclusive right to distribute your music globally.

2.4 Prohibited Content

You agree not to upload:

• Unauthorized remixes or covers without proper licenses.

• Copyright-infringing content.

• Offensive, hateful, or illegal material.

• Audio ripped from movies, TikTok, reels, or YouTube.

2.5 Termination

• Either party may terminate this agreement with 30 days written notice.

• Unpaid royalties will still be settled as per schedule.

3. PRIVACY POLICY

3.1 Information Collection

We collect:

• Basic account details (name, email, phone).

• Financial information (bank details, UPI, PAN, GST).

• Music metadata, artwork, and distribution history.

3.2 Use of Data

• For account management, royalty processing, and customer service.

• To distribute and monetize content on partner platforms.

3.3 Data Sharing

• We share data only with partner platforms for delivery and royalty collection.

• We do not sell user data to third parties.

3.4 YouTube & Facebook Policy

• We submit your content for monetization on platforms like YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram.

• Content may be rejected or removed by those platforms if it violates their policies.

• We are not responsible for monetization failures caused by policy violations or copyright claims.

3.5 Responsibility

• Content responsibility lies solely with the artist/label.

• Karhari Media Music is a distributor, not a copyright holder or content owner.

3.6 Copyright Disputes

• Artists or copyright owners must notify us of infringement.

• We comply with DMCA and Indian Copyright Act.

• In case of fraud, accounts may be suspended and royalties withheld.

3.7 Security

• We use SSL encryption and secure servers to protect your data.

• Account access requires strong passwords and verification.

4. ACCEPTANCE

By signing up or using our platform, you confirm:

• You have read and agree to the above Distribution Guidelines, Terms & Conditions, and Privacy Policy.

• You take full legal responsibility for the content you upload and distribute.
